Trauma-Informed Yoga Training


This training is for anyone that is interested in learning about  the practice of yoga for healing trauma of various types. 
Yoga teachers, clinicians, educators, doctors, counselors, social workers and those interested in learning or deepening their knowledge on trauma-informed yoga, this training is for you.

Our specialty training and certification program has been approved by the Yoga Alliance for 20 CE (continuing education) and may qualify as continuing education for various modalities. Please check with your provider and/or accreditation.

This training is open to the public...you do not have to be a yoga instructor to take this training and this is a great tool to help Trauma survivors move through their healing journeys with a deeper understanding of the effects of trauma and how to move through it.

- How to structure a trauma-sensitive yoga session or environment

- Adjusting & assisting yoga for trauma survivors

- Self-care for the trauma-informed yoga teacher, clinician and other professionals

 
MEETING DATES/TIMES- 

Registration is open for this 25 hour intensive. Required reading and study guide is online with your lead trainer. Training & Practicum will follow:

Start date: This training has an open enrollment for the online classroom and study. An online test will be available online for information read/studied. This test may be taken as early as 3/15/20 but no later than 3/20/20 at midnight to ensure proper preparation for the meeting/training dates listed below:

3/22/20- 11 a.m - 5:30 p.m, Training & Practicum
3/29/20- 11 a.m.- 5:30 p.m, Training & Practicum

TUITION- $499 
Early Bird Pricing, $450 (Ends 2/16/20)

*Tuition includes online module, training, test, required text, online training manual and certificate. 

REFUND POLICY- 

- No refunds, however, a credit may be issued for cancellations made more than 7 days before training start date.

- A $50 charge applies for all credits to cover the cost of books & materials and will be deducted from studio credit.

- Credit may be used towards future trainings, workshops and memberships.

ABOUT THE TRAINER- Tina is an advanced level Registered yoga teacher, E-RYT (experienced yoga teacher) with over 4,500 teaching hours logged with Yoga Alliance. Her master's study focus in yoga therapy is women's wellness & the female pelvis. Tina's primary teaching style is devotional hatha and flow.  In addition to her yoga training, Tina is a wellness coach, specializing in women's health and healing through yoga, nutrition and personal training.

Tina has a passion to help women heal and experience peace. Outside of owning her own studio and teaching, she is married to her soul mate who is a fire engineer with the city of Ceres, CA. They have 4 children, 8 grandchildren 2 dogs when they are not gathered at each other's homes, they enjoy spending time at the beach, any time of year.
